Rock Out at Elvis Fest 6, a Tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, at Seminole Casino Immokalee, June 22 & 23

Elvis Tribute Artists’ Contest, Free Entertainment and Cash Giveaways

IMMOKALEE, Fla. – Seminole Casino Immokalee invites Elvis Presley enthusiasts to its Elvis Fest 6 on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23. The best Elvis tribute artists from all over the United States will celebrate and compete to become King. Plus, fans will also enjoy a special appearance by DJ Fontana, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and former drummer for Elvis Presley. Additionally, all attendees will receive a complimentary Blue Hawaiian drink. Admission to all Elvis Fest 6 events is free for Seminole Player’s Club members. Anyone who’s 21 or older can join; it’s fast, free and easy.

On Saturday, June 22, the Elvis Tribute Artists’ Contest qualifying round will begin at 11 a.m. (doors open at 10:45 a.m.) in the casino’s Event Pavilion and run through 1 p.m. During the breaks, DJ Fontana, Elvis’ drummer, will sign autographs. The contest will continue from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Among the qualities the judges look for are musical talent, performance and overall stage presence evoking the late, great Elvis Presley. First place will receive $1,000, second place $500 and third place $300. Attendees can also join the tribute artists in belting out their favorite Elvis tunes during karaoke at the casino’s Zig Zag Lounge at 6 p.m.

On Sunday, June 23 at 2 p.m. the Event Pavilion doors will open again, and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. the Elvis Tribute Artists’ second round will begin. From 3 to 4 p.m., DJ Fontana will sign autographs. The Tribute second round will continue from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., the People’s Choice Award and contest winners will be announced. Karaoke with the Elvis tribute artists will take place again in the Zig Zag Lounge at 6 p.m.

During Elvis Fest 6, there will be fun promotions with great prizes. Saturday features “Cash is King” with $1000 cash drawings every two hours from 1:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. The winning continues with “Cash is King” drawings on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Participants must be 21 years old and belong to the Seminole Players Club.
